About Imagicorns

Imagicorns was inspired by Willow Skidmore’s love of unicorns. Willow is a self-described “unicorn lover.” Willow loves to draw and color unicorns. In 2019 Willow’s father and brother began talking about making the app that would allow unicorn lovers like Willow to design their own unique unicorns as well as turn their creations into fun products like art, tshirts, and figurines. Willow’s father is an experienced product and start-up manager, and Willow’s brother is a video game designer. So, it wasn’t long before the talk turned into development work. Initially, the idea was to allow users to create unicorns with 2D images, but then they realized that 3D unicorns would provide more options and fun to the mix. They reached out to Willow’s uncle, who is a 3D printing wizard to talk about product options, and he too joined in on the fun. Together, the team has been working some time to develop the app and products that will be offered. Many others have also contributed to the venture.

The core team of
co-founders is:

  • Willow Skidmore – Unicorn Lover. Willow provides design direction, critiques and user feedback.
  • Daniel Skidmore – Chief Unicorn Officer. Daniel leads and provides overall management for Imagicorns.
  • Adalynn Skidmore – Unicorn Programmer. Adalynn is the Imagicorns IT department. She programmed the Imagicorns mobile app and assisted with unicorn art development.
  • David Skidmore – Master of Magical Creatures. David handles manufacturing and operations for Imagicorn products.

Our Philosophy

We love unicorns. Unicorns embody a unique combination of aesthetic beauty, magic, power, fun, and integrity. At Imagicorns, we want to project these qualities through our work and products. One key aspect of that is to make unicorns a point of diversity and inclusion. As such, we develop our products and services with an eye to making they enjoyable for everyone, not just the traditional, narrow market for unicorns. Our branding and designs thus target an older and more broad segment of society than traditional unicorn products.

Imagicorns donates 5% of its income to non-profits engaged in:
  • Protecting the enchanted forests and waters of the world so that unicorns can continue to thrive in the wild, and:
  • Improving education for the next generation of unicorn lovers.
